Achievements

• Consistent efforts by Seva Bharati in health awareness and related activities in localities/ slums of industry & agricultural labors have yielded in owning of the efforts by them. Now these slum dwellers take initiative for overall cleanliness and hygiene of their locality.
• The entry of Dalits into temples, which was not possible hither to is a great achievement. Formation of 45 Self Help Groups (SHGs) of the members of marginalized community. Competitive rates of health services of Seva Bharati have resulted lowering of costs of health services in general.
• Health service model of Seva Bharati has been a role model for other organizations like Mahesh Yuvak Mandal, Shri Sai Seva Mandal, Rotary Club etc. These organizations have also initiated similar services thus evolving a network of such activities.
• Seva Bharati has been successful in changing the mindset of its beneficiary class (sevit jan). It has been helpful in making them look beyond their own problems and in working for other needy people. The work of Seva Bharati is exemplary in the district and not only individuals but some other organizations also are emulating the experience of Seva Bharati. People in Kolhapur district look towards Seva Bharati as a guide post to channelize their contributions in times of national calamities and disasters.
